Ich kann mir irgendwie überhaupt nicht vorstellen, das sich das Gerät einer kauft.

Der Zeitpunkt einen Monat vor dem (vermutlichen) Release der neuen „großen Zwei“ ist echt unglücklich gewählt. Gleichzeitig treibt uns diese verf... Pandemie in eine Wirtschaftskrise, wo leider Gottes Viele jede unnötige Ausgabe (als solche betrachte ich jegliche Unterhaltungselektronik) gut abwägen müssen.

Ja, dass Teil hat eine andere Zielgruppe, schon klar. Aber welche?

Handheld Fans spielen auf Switch.

Casuals spielen auf Mobile. Und Switch.

Coregamer warten auf XSEX, PS5  oder spielen am PC. Und Switch.

Retrogamer spielen an Originalhardware oder den Minikonsolen. Und Switch.

Welche Nische will Intellivision also besetzen?

Das Ding kauft auch keiner, ich wüsste nicht wofür. Hat je eine dieser abseitig startenden Konsolen auch nur irgendetwas erreicht oder sich als Anschaffung gelohnt? Solange es keine Retro-Konsolen sind, entweder im Mini-Format oder wie jene von Analogue hat sich da doch noch nichts auch nur ansatzweise verkauft. Minimal interessant wäre vllt. noch diese modulare plug-&-play Emulationsbox, welche Speedy hier auch schon ein paar mal in diversen Videos gezeigt hat, aber selbst die braucht eigentlich niemand wirklich - außer man hat einen Haufen alter Spiele die man damit dumpen könnte, da man auf diversen Systemen sehr gute Emulationsergebnisse erzielen kann, sofern man dies denn will.

Ich sehe keine Zielgruppe für dieses Teil und wie GF0P schon sagt, aktuell haben viele Leute - selbst wenn es sie denn interessieren würde - dafür auch nicht das nötige Kleingeld.

Ich denke die wollen u.a. die Retrogamer auch gewinnen... Zumindest ging es da in den letzten beiden Interviews mehr drum. Sonst das Kaufhaus Publikum in den USA in den großen Märkten dort und auch in Videogame Stores. Die wollen auch nicht solche Zahlen schaffen wie die Switch oder PS4 und nicht mal an der Xbox kratzen dazu haben die auch gar nicht das Geld. Ist denen auch sicher klar das die ein Nischenprodukt sind. Finde aber die 35000 Stück welche die Erstauslieferung für die USA/Europa sind fast zu wenig. Mehr bekommen die aber wegen dem Cornavirus Problem in China.

Ich verrate nun mal nicht so viel von den Interviews.

Das Gerät ist halt was anderes wie die anderen machen. Für mich der gerne Spiele spielt wegen dem Spielspaß für den ist das neben der Switch eine gute 2te Konsole. Klar gibts auch auf der Switch viele solche Spiele aber deswegen habe ich mir die ja auch gekauft. Leider kommt ja von Nintendo im Moment gar nichts an News außer den üblichen Gerüchten...

In dem letzten Video geht es auch darum wie man den Controller in Jump N Runs nutzen kann, wie sie den Deutschen Indie Entwicklern helfen tolle 2D Spiele zu machen. Bisher schaffte das ja aus Deutschland vor allem der Manfred Trenz, Factor 5 und zuletzt Black Forest Games (Spellbound Games) welche ja auch aus der damaligen Rainbow Arts Crew entstanden sind.

We won't know the full effects of COVID until after the lockdown is over.  Los Angeles county just said that businesses can't open until August now.  If that happens in Orange County (we are the next county over from L.A.) I can tell you that it won't be ready by October... or even by the end of the year!  We need to be in the same room in order to complete hardware.  Especially to the level we're doing.  Imagine telling a car manufacturer to make a car but everyone needs to stay apart in different places.  Being apart for smaller games doesn't affect the software/games... but the hardware.  Yes.  2 of our guys are literally hand building controllers from scratch to get to our many developers around the world.  And parts are very late and delayed from China and of course need to be quarantined the second they arrive and are opened.  But if it takes 2 people to build a controller... how can you accomplish this when everything is in the office?  One guy comes in and does what he can do, then another comes in after that, etc.  How can we all test the different parts of the hardware when each machine part needs a ton of testing and companies that do it are closed and the hardware we have is limited.  It's crazy, but we're trying our best given the circumstances and health/lockdown laws that the state of California has placed upon everyone.  It is what it is.  Nothing we can do except try our hardest and work as long as humanly possible.  We were really hoping California would be "opened up" by May 1st.  And now they're talking about being closed til August?  Impossible to get hardware done in that time.  I refuse to put out a product that isn't the best it could be.  We're not going to rush it or cut corners and take shortcuts.  Part of the reason J Allard is such an important part of the team now.  He's been through the "red ring of death" and knows why and what happened.  Not enough time for heat and component testing was a big part of that.  I'm doing everything in my power to keep the promise I made to my mom, dad & brother about honoring my sister Karen's birthday on 10/10.  They keep telling me over and over not to worry.  And if this crap continues for another month... it's out of my hands.    But maybe if 10/10 slips I can do something super special on 10/10.  Maybe have a huge public showing where the general public can play all the games for the first time (like what we had planned for E3 and Gamescom).  Maybe we do one on the west coast (LA?) and one on the east coast (NYC?).  I don't know... I really don't feel like thinking about it or discussing that at this point.  10/10 launch is still our #1 goal right now.

The amazing thing about Bi-Planes is that it has the same exact feel and dynamics as the original (SUPER IMPORTANT TO EVERYONE WORKING ON IT!!), but you're seeing, feeling and controlling it at around 60FPS!  So it's super smooth.

Daedalic Entertainment hat Intellivion Deutschland (Hans) wohl kontaktiert die wollen wohl als einer der ersten bekannten Publisher ein oder mehere Spiele für Amico bringen. Am Montag sitzen die wohl online zusammen. Ausserdem hat wohl Intellivison wohl auch Interesse an ZanZarah the Hidden Portal (da hat Deadalic wohl die Rechte von) für den Amico. Und Tommy Tallarico im Chat über den aktuellen Amico Stand, wie viele Spiele in Entwicklung sind aktuell sowie die Vertretung in Nürnbert und eine neue in den USA. 

Ich habe gestern eine golden Amico Controller Papp Karte von Intellivison USA geschickt bekommen die irgendwas freischaltet wohl zum 10.10.2020. Wird wohl wegen der Vorbestellung der First Edition Edition sein. Ich finde die lassen sich schon ein Menge einfallen was an damals so erinnert als es noch ganz viele solcher Merchandising Aktionen von Herstellern gab.

Ich habe die ja vorbestellt mit Abholung im Media Markt dann geh ich auch immer druch den Markt und kaufe was für die jeweilige Konsole. Sollen ja die Controller einzeln, in Doppelpacks sowie Overlays etc dann auch erhältlich sein. Wenn alles in China mit dem traurigen erneuten Ausbruch des Corna Virus nicht enorm verzögert wird.

Die Wöchentliche Retro Gamer zum Amico Talk Runde in der sich Tommy Tallarico aufschaltet und Spieldetails aus Moon Patrol welches in Nürnberg entwickelt wird spoilert... Guter Podcast aber halt mit Spiel Spoilern.

Moon Patrol ein Spielautomat von Irem (R-Type usw) der hier damals an einer Trinkhalle stand... Das war auch der erste wo ich haufen D-Mark Stücke herein geschmissen hattee. Das ausgerechnet das Spiel auf den AMICO als Remake kommt :)

Durch den neuen Shutdown in Kalifornien wegen dem Coronavirus könnte das 10.10.2020 Datum für den Amico Release kippen.

Das Preview Event am 4ten August soll ca. 40 bis 60 Minuten gehen und auch neues zu Spielen beinhalten und wohl auch den Erscheinungstermin der Konsole.

Zum anschauen braucht man aber den Link von der Email Einladung wenn man sich registiert hat. 

Danach soll eine Aufzeichnung auf dem Intellivision Kanal hochgeladen werden. Ausserdem wird wohl der ein oder andere You Tuber darüber berichten.

Bin mal gespannt was nun gezeigt wird. Zuletzt hat Tommy Tallarico ja deswegen keine Interviews mehr gegeben da die hier was zeigen wollen. Es gibt das Gerücht das es eine Spiele Zusammenarbeit mit Hasbro geben könnte. Ausserdem eine mit den Jackbox Entwicklern... GGF auch wird Mattel auch wieder was damit zu tun haben. Die haben früher Intellivisions Konsolen vertrieben. Und haben ganz viele Lizenzen, kennen Disney gut etc....

Es gibt bereits jetzt schon neue T-Shirts etc im Shop. Die weissen sollen auch noch erscheinen.

20 Spiele werden morgen gezeigt. 10 davon sind Premieren...

Achtung Spoiler erster Level des in Nürnberg produzierten Moon Patrol Arcade Remake. Wenn ihr die Intellivision Amico App im Play Store oder bei Apple herunterladet dann könnt ihr den selbst spielen. Für Arcade Fans genau das richtige Hammer Irem Spiel. Das Spiel was mich damals als erstes an Trinkhallen begeisterte für Spiele.... 

Man muss sich registrieren und einen Einladungslink erhalten, um sich ein Video über eine Konsole anschauen zu dürfen? Für wen halten die sich denn?
